Sofwave® is an FDA-cleared ultrasound technology that targets the mid-dermis, where collagen production naturally occurs. Using precise ultrasound energy, Sofwave stimulates your body's healing response, encouraging the production of new collagen and elastin while leaving the surface of your skin largely unaffected.
Unlike surgical procedures, Sofwave works gradually, allowing your skin to improve naturally over the weeks and months following treatment. The result is a refreshed appearance that develops naturally over time.
Sofwave is commonly used to improve the face, neck, brow, under the chin, and fine lines and wrinkles. During treatment, Sofwave delivers controlled ultrasound energy beneath the surface of the skin while preserving the outer layers. Over the following weeks, your body naturally produces new collagen, gradually improving skin firmness, elasticity, and texture.
A typical treatment lasts approximately 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the areas being treated. Cooling technology is built into the device to enhance comfort during the procedure. Most patients return to normal activities immediately after treatment.
Many patients begin noticing improvements after several weeks, with continued enhancement over approximately three months as new collagen develops. Results vary from patient to patient based on age, skin quality, and individual collagen production.
